Learning Coach

Have you always wanted to finish your high school?  The Learning Coach is here to provide the support you need to

• upgrade high school courses or

• take your GED (General Educational Development) tests to get your High School Equivalency Diploma

We can help you choose the best program, guide you through registration with the institution you choose, and provide encouragement and coaching to develop the study and organizational skills you need to successfully complete your course.

Program registration is only $25, thanks to funding from Alberta Advanced Education and Technology.

You are responsible to pay your own tuition with a high school course provider or GED exam fees. Financial assistance is available to cover babysitting, travel and resource material costs if necessary.

 GED prep classes are every Tuesday and Thursday night 6:30 to 9:30 at the Killam Learning Centre. 

Fall classes start September 14, 2010.

The Learning Coach will also travel to other communities in Flagstaff County as needed.
