English Intermediate Listening & Speaking
Do you want to work on your English skills with an online course? 
Flagstaff Community Adult Learning will provide free, in person support for this online course from Norquest College. 
This course helps you develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills (CLB 5-6) as well as online learning skills.
When you have successfully completed this course, you will be able to:
  1. show that you understand personal or public messages related to everyday situations
  2. follow written instructions related to everyday situations
  3. correctly answer questions about texts on familiar topics
  4. write short, formal or informal messages on familiar topics
  5. express clear ideas and information in writing and speaking
The course uses a Moodle learning platform and can be accessed by registered learners online anytime over a period of 12 weeks. Each learner receives official start and end dates when they register.
  • Activities are designed for you to complete at your own pace either independently or with the help of a tutor.
  • You can expect to invest an average of 8 hours of study time in a week.
  • The course format is compatible to a laptop or desktop computer, a tablet, or a smartphone.
